Don't know if you've met @AmyVernon - She's the GM of Internet Media Labs #TheLabNYC in New York City and a Social Media "Weblebrity". I spoke to her yesterday via Twitter to learn that she's ok but her friends on #StatenIsland are devastated by #Sandy.
@SINYCliving and @mzayfert are providing news and are the "go to" people in the area for what's happening there. It would be helpful if we can follow or otherwise get the word out about them. Anything you can do will be much appreciated.
