Huge thanks to the Rotary Club of LaPlace, Subway Restaurant on Belle Terre Blvd., organizer Sandi Gomez Lambert, and volunteers from Louisiana Spirit, St. Joan of Arc, the Lions Club, and all of the other volunteers who are still working to help those affected by Isaac.

Awesome Day!! Worked to help our community as they renew and recover from Hurricane Issac with the Rotary Club of LaPlace. We helped over 100 familys in the last two days...92 today!! The stories were heartbreaking and tears were shed but we do what we can do to help our neighbors! Special Thanks to Raj Pannu of Subway for her generosity and letting us use her building. Thanks to the ladies of Louisiana Spirit, LaPlace Lions Club, St John of Arc and our wonderful Rotary members Betty, Sharon, Christine, Trista, Bev, Raj and Joel. Special thanks to my friends Neadra, Holly, Etta, Dee, Patty, Annette, Mrs Beverly and Regina for helping set everthing up and working today. Also grateful for this event bringing my old friend Amy and I together again !! This was truly a community coming together to make today possible.
